Boom Sports Secures Sportsbooks in Five US StatesLegal
Boom Sports, the New York based game developer and tech supplier, secured market access to operate its own mobile sportsbook and online casino.
They have established themselves as a best-in-class game developer and technology provider. Boom Sports will launch a consumer-facing sportsbook.
New Relationship with Penn National Gaming
The firm confirmed an agreement with Penn National Gaming to receive sports betting and icasino skins to operate digital products in Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
Stephen A Murphy, Co-Founder and CEO of Boom Sports, stated:
“This agreement marks a pivotal moment in the history of Boom Sports. As we aim to become the premier technology provider for the real-money online gaming industry, this deal will allow us to unveil our unique sportsbook vision directly to consumers.
“We’re thrilled to take this first step with Penn National Gaming in offering premier free-to-play and real-money products for the US gaming industry. We look forward to establishing ourselves as the premier partner in the US casino industry just as we have done for US sports leagues and media companies.”
Boom Sports Elevating in Online Sports Gambling
Boom Sports already has a partnership with NBC Sports, XFL and now increased their franchise with Penn National Gaming, affiliated with NASCAR and Barstool Sports. Their ultimate plan is to launch a consumer-facing sportsbook. The decision is yet to be made if it will be under its own brand or a partner. The company’s main focus ultimately remains committed to its B2B focus.
Med Nadoosham, CTO and President of Boom Sports, spoke about the new deal:
“This market access deal allows Boom to get our regulated, real-money products in front of consumers directly so we can make sure our partners get the most proven and successful products.”
Boom Sports solidified the deal by building a series of free-to-play games and products for Penn National in exchange for the sports betting licenses. The first product, NASCAR Finish Line, has showcased both live NASCAR contests as well as eNASCAR contests in the esports community. The second product will be released under the Barstool Sports brand in the near future.
Boom Sports has been primarily a B2B-centered company, but its venture into front-line operations has changed due to the recent online surge of sports gambling. The move to collaborate with Penn National will promote imminent growth to the company along with NBC Sports.
